Disarmonia Mundi - The Restless Memoirs
01. Across The Universe
02. Flare
03. Kneeling On Broken Glass
04. Spiral Dancer
05. Chester
06. Ghost Song

Without a doubt, DISARMONIA MUNDI has steadily been the most impressive unsigned Metal project there is, and for many years. They have seen many changes in members and sound throughout the moniker's existence, but the heart and spirit of the music has always remained intact. Coupled with a re-mastered "Nebularium", the debut album and by far the best work ever produced by the band (mostly because they were a full band at the time), "The Restless Memoirs" EP takes a step backwards to the more versatile renditions by the band that many fans have been missing for quite some time.

"Across The Burning Surface", "Kneeling On Broken Glass", and "Spiral Dancer" are the more recent recordings featured on the EP. The production quality is a bit lacking, and more than a little full of static, but the songs are much more interesting than some of the ones heard on their previous release. "Flare", "Chester", and "Ghost Song" revisit some of the sound variations heard on "Nebularium", and any fan of that work will absolutely love these trips down memory lane. SOILWORK fans will notice that Björn "Speed" Strid's vocals are not featured in this release, but the album isn't hurt by his absence one bit.

There is no reason for anyone not to get this album. It is packaged with one of the greatest Metal debuts ever released, re-mastered and with a clearer sound than ever before, and serves as more than a simple appetite wetter for fans who are eagerly awaiting "The Isolation Game", coming this winter.
