Enter the realm of the King Of All Kings, the Monarch of the Conquered Throne, ruler of a kingdom consumed by an unending determination to purge both body and mind of religious and social domination through the merciless, driving vengeance of HATE ETERNAL: "In a world so fabled and false...I, Monarch, master of what shall be. I will not live in this façade, in a world of contradiction." Three dark knights of infinite skill, born of fire and imbued with the will of the King, sweep across the barren landscapes of withered humanity with a purging fury unleashed upon the enemies of Will: "Prepared for death by this code of honor, our weapon is our soul...gallant in our fight we will conquer, we shall command. With the mind we control our bodies, with wisdom we shall lead. We as warriors must know our enemies." Kings in their own right, through their limitless dominance of Will and skill, guitarist/vocalist Erik Rutan, drummer Derek Roddy and bassist Randy Piro unleash a vengeance of hate and violent retribution through the pestilence and brutality of the most relentless Extreme Metal.

Infernally fast and uncompromisingly vicious, the furious onslaught of "I, Monarch" devours your ears more ravenously than Tyson on Holyfield, clawing its way into your mind and amputating the distorted lies with eviscerating guitars, devastating drum and bass incisions, and an aurally demonic but lyrically persuasive vocal lobotomy. The result, after 42+ minutes of intensely brutal therapy, is a bloodied and toothless inner self that has achieved enlightenment at the torturous expense of the musical equivalent to disembowelment by brutal truth. Without fail every track delivers voracious instrumental fury from every angle, with Roddy's inhuman yet authentic blasts and double bass celerity, Piro's behemoth pick-less bionic bass thrums, and Rutan's commanding, insane rhythmic speed & seething, corrosive growls delivering solid blow after solid blow of some of the truest Extreme Metal in history.

HATE ETERNAL's "I, Monarch" is an unerring collection of the truly brutal, never failing to deliver the highest quality aggression and musicianship in every song. "Two Demons", "Behold Judas" and "The Victorious Reign" are but a few examples of the determined, hate-fueled plague of truth and death that afflicts the mind and ears throughout the album. And at its most demonically chilling times, the band unveils secret doors to unimaginable, viscerally unnerving depths of hell and hatred incarnate through the ancient instrumentation of tabla ("Sons Of Darkness"), didgeridoo ("To Know Our Enemies"), and Tibetan human bones ("I, Monarch"). Of particular disturbing yet intriguing interest are the Tibetan human bone instruments. Constructed and performed in the early '80s by Austrian Michael "Zos" Dewitt, under the mantra Zero Kama, Dewitt traveled to Tibet to study this ancient taboo ritual with its monks. A ritual unto itself, Zero Kama's only release using the instruments (due to Austrian government scrutiny over the origin of the bones) was the album "The Secret Eye Of L.A.Y.L.A.H.", and was performed entirely with human bones that included drums crafted from skulls; thighbone flutes, pipes and trumpets; and xylophones of thighbones and skullcaps. The inclusion of parts from the Zero Kama song "Death Posture" in "I, Monarch" conjures an atmosphere of crushing evil and infernal majesty, embodying the darkest aspects of hell's most twisted design. As the realm of the Monarch spreads and the seeds of dissention and rebellion are sown in the bloody wake of these dark riders, the walls of distorted reality fall to usher in a new era; an era of dominance and reign by the power of Will and the strength of I. I, Monarch.
